When I describe the dreams or experiences of others, I change some of the details to preserve their anonymity and privacy.

Also, in cases where I don’t have a written version of the dream, I paraphrase what the person told me, coming as close as possible to what I heard.

If I put any kind of “spin” on the dream, or explore possible meanings, please remember that this is based on “my imagined version of the dream,” (see Jeremy Taylor’s “Dream Work Tool Kit” #5) and does not necessarily reflect the perspective of the dreamer—unless I explicitly state that the dreamer concurred with this perspective.
