Individual Dreamwork refers to sessions with a professional dreamworker to explore your dreams. Sessions may be scheduled regularly (perhaps once or twice a month), or on an occasional basis as significant dreams arise.
Arrangements
Generally, a session of individual dreamwork lasts one hour (though longer or shorter sessions can be arranged), and may take place in a variety of different formats, according to the dreamer’s preference. A dreamwork session can be conducted by phone or video conferencing, as well as in person: as an office visit, or in a public setting such as a quiet coffeehouse or even while walking in the park.
Cost
The cost of a one-hour dreamwork session is $85, due at the end of each session. If this is more than you can afford, please talk to us, scholarships may be available. On the other hand, if you can afford to pay more for your sessions, or make a donation, you will be helping to make it possible for us to work with those who can’t afford to pay full price. We follow the Quaker model of fair business practices, offering high-quality, reputable services, and communicating all costs directly, without advertising gimmicks or concealed fees of any kind.
Kerry Backstrom is a certified dreamworker, experienced with individual and group dreamwork in a variety of contexts. They are also trained and experienced as an interfaith spiritual director and pastoral counselor, and their work is informed by the Internal Family Systems model of psychotherapy. Their approach to dreamwork is flexible, so each session is adapted to the individual needs, temperament, interests, and comfort-level of the dreamer, drawing from a wide range of dreamwork traditions and practices as appropriate.
